(LICKS)
HuntSmart™

The HuntSmart big game hunting software's “Lick” item is used to collect information about types of game licks such as salt blocks, alfalfa blocks, and peanut butter sticks that you have placed in your hunting area for wild game to feed on. You also have the ability to collect additional details such as the type of game licks used, evaluation date/time with status, refills, and notes using the sub-items. You can create as many “Lick” records as necessary in order to collect your information. However, you determine when it is necessary to create a “Lick” record. For example, if you placed licks at a specific coordinates in the prior season and now wish to do the same thing this season, you can 1) use the same “Lick” record and record additional detail, or 2) create a new “Lick” record for the new season. Also, if a map exists that contains the coordinates you have entered, the record will be viewable on the map.

In order to create a "Lick" record, you must load the item into the working area and then click the “Add” icon, which will display a blank data entry screen as shown in Figure 1. After you have completed the entry of information, click on the “Save” button, which will create and save the new record. If you have an existing record that you wish to edit, you must locate the record in the grid and click on the “Edit” icon. This action will display the selected record’s information in the entry screen shown in Figure 1.
