(NATURAL/FARM CROPS)
HuntSmart™

The HuntSmart big game hunting software's “Natural/Farm Crop” item is used to collect information about natural crops such as acorns trees and farm crops such as corn fields with you having the ability to add you own natural and farm crop descriptions. You can create as many “Natural/Farm Crop” records as necessary in order to collect your information. However, you determine when it is necessary to create a new record. For example, if you are evaluating a crop field that you had previously recorded with corn in a prior season and this year the field is planted with soybeans, you can 1) change the type of food planted, the evaluation date, and/or add additional information, or 2) create a new record in order to keep your history. Also, if a map exists that contains the coordinates you have entered, the record will be viewable on the map.

In order to create a "Natural/Farm Crop" record, you must load the item into the working area and then click the “Add” icon, which will display a blank data entry screen as shown in Figure 1. After you have completed the entry of information, click on the “Save” button, which will create and save the new record. If you have an existing record that you wish to edit, you must locate the record in the grid and click on the “Edit” icon. This action will display the selected record’s information in the entry screen shown in Figure 1.
