The HuntSmart big game hunting software's “Water” item is used to collect information on water sources that wild game may be using in your hunting area with you having the ability to collect additional detail such as the evaluation of the wild game water source. You can create as many “Water” records as necessary in order to collect your information. However, you determine when it is necessary to create a new water record. For example, if you are evaluating a wild game water source that you had previously recorded with normal water levels in the prior season and this year the water source is very low, you can 1) change your rating, water level, and add evaluation information, or 2) create a new record in order to keep your history for each season. Also, if a map exists that contains the coordinates you have entered, the record will be viewable on the map.

In order to create a "Water" record, you must load the item into the working area and then click the “Add” icon, which will display a blank data entry screen as shown in Figure 1. After you have completed the entry of information, click on the “Save” button, which will create and save the new record. If you have an existing record that you wish to edit, you must locate the record in the grid and click on the “Edit” icon. This action will display the selected record’s information in the entry screen shown in Figure 1.

The "Water" item includes sub-items to collect additional information about your findings. You can create as many records as necessary to collect your information.
