The HuntSmart big game hunting software's “Weather” item is used to collect information about weather conditions affecting a location and specific area on a certain day. Weather information can be collected separately or as sub-items from the “Hunting Log”, “Scouting Log”, or “Harvest” items. You can create as many “Weather” records as necessary in order to collect your information. It is a good idea to create a “Weather” record when harvesting or sighting wild game animals in order to help you analysis movement and patterns using weather conditions. Also, if a map exists that contains the coordinates you have entered, the record will be viewable on the map.

In order to create a "Weather" record, you must load the item into the working area and then click the “Add” icon, which will display a blank data entry screen as shown in Figure 1. After you have completed the entry of information, click on the “Save” button, which will create and save the new record. If you have an existing record that you wish to edit, you must locate the record in the grid and click on the “Edit” icon. This action will display the selected record’s information in the entry screen shown in Figure 1.

The "Weather" item includes sub-items to collect additional information about your findings. You can create as many records as necessary to collect your information.
